Deeside

Had a trip up Deeside today. We'd planned to walk in Glen Tannar but it was too wet so had to settle for coffee and a scone in Aboyne. The blip is of Strachans in Aboyne - a veritable Aladdin's Cave of goods and a local institution. Then we drove up to Ballater. Sad to see how much of the town was ravaged by the floods. Many houses are empty and a lot of the local shops are closed.
