Midnight Moo! What a challenge!

For someone who spends lots of weekends out geocaching, I found the midnight moo a real challenge.

The atmosphere was buzzing when I got to MK Centre. Live music, face painting, massage area, aerobics and of course a sea of orange!

After registering I found my friend Pam Mannell, who ended up being my night in shining armour.

10 miles - easy peasy! I often walk more than this when caching, however, it's never on the flat and it is never throughout the night. We got to mile 3 and I had this incredible pain in my left hip. By the halfway mark I was really struggling and had chronic pain in both hips. Boy did I feel old!!

Pam, bless her, more-a-less dragged me to the finishing line! She was an absolute star.

Would I do it again?? Yes, but next time I will wear less clothing and take some pain killers!

It was for a brilliant cause. Over 1700 people all dressed as cows in orange t-shirts.

Thanks again to Pam xxx
