ruin and snowdrops

There was a big bank of snowdrops just to the left but I couldn't get them in the photo.
I'm supposed to have started phased retirement but it is going to be difficult some weeks as no-one has applied to come and learn the job and replace me. However, I can have days like today where I went in and did some things that really needed to be done this week and then left early.
It was nice to be able to go for a run in the park in daylight, do some shopping for the family coming on Sunday and some gardening.
I've run past this ruin numerous times (it's by the parkrun course) but in summer it isn't very obvious and, if running in the other direction which is more normal, you don't really see it.
