Contemplation

Everything that happens is a lesson, or at least that's what my granny used to tell me. She used to remind me that I needed to reflect on my experiences to look at what worked and what didn't, that way I would know how to deal with things in the future.

Lessons learned is a phrase often used but not really observed, time for a change I think.
