My Little Pot of Sunshine

Daffodils signify new beginnings, joy, happiness, hope and female ambition. Also known as the bloom of Spring and, for its association with Easter, the Lent Lily. If worn in the hair a daffodil can bring misfortune but when worn on the breast it represents chivalry.

The bright sunshine today hinted that Spring is on the way at long last. I'm ever hopeful that the dark winter days are over but in the meantime my new mini daffodil is my little pot of sunshine.
