On the boil
Our Blip outing this morning was to the mouth of the estuary. The tide had turned and was racing in across the flatter areas. We were fascinated not only by the speed it moved, but that in places it was blowing bubbles as it progressed. We could only surmise that pockets of air were trapped as the water passed over crab or other small creatures homes. There must be quite a bit of trapped air in each spot as the bubbles continued to 'boil' for some time.
It was too interesting not to blip - so here is one of them.
