Ball of Pele's hair plant

This strand of Spanish moss blew across the road and I always try to grow it when I find it.  This one I rolled into a ball and have been intrigued how the strands delicately grow out.   Usually it is hung into long strands from fences or trees.  It is also used as a dirt cover in florist plants.
