Reloay for life

Social Day.
Went out for dinner this evening to the parents of my friends son who was killed at MT Cook before Christmas. It would have been his birthday today so we had lovely meal then had toast to his life and acknowledged the things he had done. It was really nice even though it was sad.
At 10pm I left there and went into Timaru to do a stint at our church tent in the relay for life(cancer fund raiser)
Walked ten laps then had a cup of tea and a chat. Arrived back home 12.45 pm.
 Am so tired after the big day at the wedding yesterday. Thank you to all who gave stars and hearts for my fun wedding shot.
This image is at the relay they are all decorated bags that people have done to remember someone they have lost to cancer. Each has a tea light in them. Always very moving when they are lit and placed at dusk.
As I left they were about to have a talent quest. The live music was great and the young ones were dancing and havi9ng a ball.
