Millions of gallons later
The River Lym taken near Middle Mill Farm, Lyme Regis
A week ago this river reached levels it has not seen for decades and much damage was done further along towards the town of Lyme Regis. Whilst its now returned to normal water levels, there is much evidence of where the plants were flattened, stones deposited and banks eroded. But from the bridge where I took this picture it all looks normal again, apart from a few flattened reeds in the foreground to the right of the image.
