THE SHEEP
Today we went to look at the sheep again. Such a fascinating sight.
And we walked from Herstelle along the river Weser in the direction of Beverungen. The path, on which one can walk or cycle, goes under the enormous bridge, and then the landscape changes a lot. The hills at your left are very steep, the water is running so quickly, and at the other shore there stands the nuclear power station, a very huge, grey building, that is
shut down many years ago, and it will take at least 10 years to dismantle it. One can make an appointment for informations, till now we have not done that.
Along the river there are kingfishers, we did not see one. And cormorants, we saw two, and of course several ducks and lone herons.
All terribly shy.
After our walk we visited the supermarket.
For now I will have a rest, I will catch up tomorrow.
Have a good weekend, dear blipfriends.
My haiku:
A sheep looks at me
In a strange way, it could say:
Love a bite of you
And the proverb:
He/she looks like the laird of pity . (= frightened)
