New train (or beer?) service at Corfe Castle
Swanage Railway have now completed laying the track between castle and railway station in the village.
[ADDED ON 14th MARCH - plus the mention of beer in the title above]
............Well, this is not strictly speaking true. As a photographic experiment I borrowed the train and rails running in the valley a couple of hundred yards eastwards of the castle gate.
The purpose of this exercise? To create a beer pump clip for a brew which will in the near future be on sale in Corfe Castle. Its name? Corfe Steam.
I was pleased with the "realistic" result and decided to upload it to blipfoto.
Perhaps some day there will be trains crossing the bridge, but they will not be steam-driven. On the other hand, some of the visitors may well be propelled by Corfe Steam.
