England 25-21 Wales

Jack’s rugby match had been cancelled and so had Penny’s kayaking session, so it was nice to not have to do lots of drop offs early morning. Bibi spent the morning watching GCSE revision YouTube videos, which were so loud that everyone in the house could hear them. She had an optician’s appointment at midday and we were there for about 45 minutes. Her prescription has changed again so they ordered new lenses for her.
We then went to Gosia’s Café for lunch and sat on their sheepskin-covered chairs out on the pavement.
It was nearly 3pm by the time we got back home. We had a cup of tea made in the new spotty teapot that I got for mother’s day (which I received yesterday).
Jack had already left for Twickenham to watch the England vs Wales game. Rhian came over to watch it on the TV with me. Sadly, Wales lost but were very close to winning right at the end.

Penny had been at her friend’s Saskia’s house all afternoon and got a lift home at 8:30pm. As soon as she got home, Ben and I went over the Road to Cherise and Alan's.
