Lion Learners

After a rough night but a lucky lie in till 9 o'clock we had a really productive morning. I set to work cleaning the bathroom tiles with the steam cleaner and Mr J tackled the mountain of ironing.

This afternoon P and I went down to the Lion Learners event at the local library. P is feeling much better and was eager to get out of the house. The event was great and we both throughly enjoyed ourselves. We heard 3 stories and met many different creatures. A snake, tortoise, lizard, giant snails, rabbits and a tarantula! P even volunteered me as mummy to try holding it! Argh! I tried not to look to scared!

When we got home, A had woken from his nap so we bundled him into his coat, grabbed the scooters and went to the park. We left Mr J looking after the cottage pie in the oven.
