Nosebag breakfast.
At the party last night we met A and N who have a farm just over the border in Scotland. We began randomly chatting at the start of the party, pushed up together by the sheer volume of people in the room. Luckily for us, we had been herded up into the vicinity of the bar!
At the end of the night they were keen to find somewhere that served a better breakfast than the hotel they were staying in, and I remembered a place called The Nosebag Café just a few minutes away. It would have seemed rude not to join them, wouldn't it?! So, inkeeping with our weekend of avoiding the kitchen area of our own house, we met up again this morning to enjoy a proper fried breakfast, with a proper mug of tea/coffee.
After going our separate ways, Sav and I went for a brisk walk down by the river and are now relaxing before the next 6 Nations game.
The sun is shining, the patio doors are open and the birds are singing merrily in the garden. I could almost be fooled into thinking Spring has sprung!
I've added an extra shot of part of Tutbury Castle as seen from the weir in part of the river Dove that passes behind our house.
