Cheers

To a fabulous evening, great company and a wonderful restaurant.
We went to an 'Old Wines v New Wines' evening at a restaurant called Keats Cottage in Shanklin.
The idea was that you had a three course meal and two wines with each course (1 old world and 1 new world wine). Then we had to guess which was old and new.
The menu consisted of 2 choices for each course : Salmon mousse or chicken liver and aubergine pate, this came with two white wines. Then either Sea Bass or Duck Confit, which came with two red wines followed by chocolate brownie or Polenta cake, ice cream and raspberry with two white wines.
I had the second option of each of those menu choices.
It was such a lovely evening and we managed to get the old or new wines guessed correctly.
But after 6 glasses of wines nobody cared anyway.
Then we were asked if we wanted to see Keats Bedroom, well it would have been rude not to !
