Rising Out of the Mist
The Petit Muveran from the Petit Chatillon summit. The col is the Col des Pauvres, a popular ski touring destination hence those lovely tracks in the snow.
Ouff, 3 hours to get to the top of the Chatillon, and an "interesting" ski down. It was really strange, only 2 other people on this very popular mountain today, yet it is probably the last day one could ski up from the car park. Never having been there before, I was very glad to see our local peaks from a different angle. Extra is the Dents du Midi also rising out of the mist.
Hope you have had a great weekend too. Next weekend an Alpine Blipmeet in Zuoz, in the Engadine if you are around. Time and place to be announced soon but either Saturday or Sunday.
