Meet the neighbour

Today I met young Leslie for the first time. He lives with his doting parents on the farm across the river. He is thirteen months old, vigorous, glowing with health, strong, busy, engaging and simply charming! In no time at all he was on my lap and we were sharing bits of marie biscuit (note the evidence) and evaluating the pros and cons of his toys. I'm smitten, as Chris predicted I would be.
