Madagascan Tenrecs

Just to let you know they doing well. Still fighting terribly (apparently normal??) They are actually hibernating, but their cage needed cleaning and they were terribly thirsty. The "water bowel " is actually a cold drink bottle top. Their cages are warmed with a heated mat and light and I think they may not realize how thirsty they become. We will invest in the water dispenser used for hamsters to see if we can't solve the problem. By the way; they have food and water in their cage always, but they need to be shown where the water is................
They quite like the water that got spilled on the table top-licking it up with tiny pink tongues! Difficult to photograph together but I am sure you will like Spikey and Pixie.
