Crystal Palace

El Palacio de Cristal in the Retiro Park this wonderful blue-skied Madrid day. A long walk took us there and back via the book stalls which line one of the park's exits, followed by a trememdously good-value menu del día in Los Amigos located just minutes stroll behind our hostal.
