Southern Cemetery

We went on a tour of Southern Cemetery today. It's the resting place of 750,000 souls, including some of the more famous, such as John Alcock, who made the first non-stop transatlantic flight, Matt Busby, Tony Wilson of Haçienda and Factory Records fame, and the artist L.S. Lowry. (photo shown). Sunny, warm and Spring-like today, so nice to be doing something outside.
