At Crail Harbour

I did it! I walked all the way from Anstruther to Crail along the Fife Coastal Path! Yay! It took me one hour and forty five minutes. As a reward for my effort, I had a chippie in the Crail Fish Bar and Cafe. The fish was really good, but the chips, although crispy, were rather oily... so, the rating stays like this so far:

1. The Wee Chippie
2. Anstruther Fish Bar/ Crail Fish Bar and Cafe
3. The Waterfront

I decided to give it a joint second place with the Anstruther Fish Bar because the fish was really good. This rating is based on my personal taste, by the way, so not to be taken seriously.. :)

The walk was great and I took quite a few shots in Crail. It was a difficult decision. In Crail I met a couple that were also taking photos. They told me I should really join St Andrews Photographic Society, although it seems that their activities every Wednesday have stopped till October. I told them about Blipfoto. Interestingly enough, they had been at the distillery where I work with a group of forty French people on the fifth day I was working there. I thought their faces were a bit familiar... It's a small world, isn't it? You'll see a picture of them in my extras.

I had a coffee with them in a quaint little art gallery and coffee shop. It was nice to have someone to talk to and to make friends.

After that, I took the bus home as it was getting late to walk all the way back. Back home I baked the loaf of wholegrain bread I wanted to bake yesterday. It is delicious!

Back to work tomorrow.
