Incongruous?

It is Him Outdoors' birthday today. Presents were opened early and received with tears and excitement. After a huge few weeks, the Birthday Boy is still poorly sick and so having dropped The Teen off at the station for her trip to Belgium, he returned to bed.
I worked and then ran solo rather than at the running club - a good head- clearing trot and a beautiful morning.
The day was too good not to take the chance to get to YSP to see the KAWS. I drove the poor OAP. We had lunch and then wandered the parks. I got chance to try out the new lens and I think I'm going to really enjoy using it. Terrific sunlight today.
Home via our best friend's house and a birthday cuddle from Bailey. More presents and cards waiting as we got in - all in all , a very good day. Feels a bit quiet without The Teen this evening - tidier though!
