Drying up

After our late nights and early mornings we have had recently we've had a nice quiet day today. Later on this afternoon we had a drive over to Crummock, it was a lovely spring afternoon.
The lake has gone down (see 4th March blip) the hills were clear, there were frogs in the pond on the side of the path and a bit further round there was a small dub of water with lots of spawn, some of which was just lying on the mud as the dub was either drying up or draining away.
