Out to pasture

'Twas a beautiful day today, so we took the chance to set off for a bit of a scamper with the kids and the dog. Took a whole bunch of pics, but today was one of those 'my eyes aren't working right' days, and for the life of me I couldn't get a single image to come alive. 

But there was a little bit of redemption right at the end of the walk when the kids found this little pasture with a few old friendly horses trotting about. When they came over to say hello, we had a chat and this delightful fellow said he'd be perfectly happy to pose for me.

Good job really... it was looking like another cat blip today ;)
