Trinity Cemetery
Finishing up my week of History in our church's cemetery. This congregation was started by Swedish immigrants. Taking a walk through the cemetery provides a glimpse into the lives of those early immigrants. I find it interesting to read names and dates, putting families together. Many of the stones are marked with mother, father, daughter of .... etc. This particular stone is written in Swedish. Emelie Sophia. A beautiful name for a young girl who only lived to be 17 years old.
Had a tired, lazy day, partly because of the dreary weather and losing an hour over night with the start of daylight savings time. But also, probably because we had too much fun last night!
Another weekend comes to an end. My theme for next week will be green.
