Meadow Hut in Summer

The Walkers have had another wonderful day up in the mountains.  Today the 30 of us headed to the Snow Farm, and broke into 3 groups.  One group did the Loop track, the other the Miners Trail, and the 3rd group headed down to Musterers Flat and along the trail to Meadow Hut.  The sky was blue, and there was a slight breeze that kept us cool.  

Meadow Hut was our lunch spot.  Looks completely different to when the ground is covered in snow just like this.

We walked back up the hill to the base building, then on to the famous Cardrona hotel for a cold drink.  Another wonderful day out with my walking group friends.  Our eldest member turns 89 next month!
