Spring forward

The plumeria which has been hibernating over the "winter" has decided that it is time to wake up.  Such a pleasant surprise when it happens each year.   The one prong stump came alive with a cute animal-like face.
This ties in nicely with today being the beginning of daylight savings time in the USA (not observed here in Hawaii, however). 
Next Sunday will be the first day of spring  .  .  .
