Los Angeles, finally!!

Sunset over LA, which we reached after over three days on the train. Unfortunately we were delayed for four hours just outside LA, arriving 8 hours late. Not bad for a 3000 mile trip though. The Amtrak staff were superb.

I was so glad to finally get to our hotel having collected our checked bags, found the rental car and driven through peak time traffic on the LA freeways. Time for a nice relaxing glass of White Zinfandel in the 19th floor lounge while watching the sun go down and the traffic rush around below.
