Cambo

A morning visiting the terrific display of snowdrops at Cambo.  A bonus was the super weather; very, very chilly, but bright and sunny and hardly a breath of wind.  Once inside the walled garden it was much warmer, and it was fascinating to be able to see the "bones" of the garden before all the plants were in full growth.  

Beautiful spring planting with aconites and hellebores and irises, a lovely walk through the woods, Tamworth pigs, and an excellent hot chocolate in the cafe.  Feels like we really are on holiday!
