Another broken night's sleep and when eventually I did get up the city v was shrouded in thick mist, Arthur's Seat had disappeared.

But I was off back south, to York where we had a really positive and productive meeting about Christmas. I've no idea how many shopping days but for us it is just a few months away.

Said goodbye to a colleague, finished a really good audio book, by Dawn French, much better than I'd anticipated and got a fair bit of work done on the way back.

I hope the beautiful sunshine will lead to a better night's sleep tonight.
