Commonwealth Day

Today it is Commonwealth Day. And the mast on the roundabout in town has been adorned with lots of colourful commonwealth flags. Coincidentally, today was also the day that our new Lieutenant Governor was sworn in. Our last one died suddenly in September last year. Marching bands and a 15 gun salute were part of the proceedings.
Today Harry has been poorly too. Very high temperature one minute and freezing cold the next. There's certainly something in the air as at my school there were 63 children absent today. 6 in my class alone .
