THE WHITE HORSE
Two errands would bring us today to Beverungen and we intended to plan our walk in the valley of the river Bever.
But first we enjoyed the lovely, sunny morning, in the garden, at the balcony and Mischa surprised us with her phonecall. She wanted to say hello, catch up, and show some photos. Delightful time.
Coming from Beverungen one first arrives at Dalhausen and then we followed the climbing road to Borgholz. There we parked and decided to
walk in another direction.
First we took a path through large fields, not too steep, but going up anyway. At the highest point we had amazing views in all directions.
The weather so spring-like, we had still our winter clothes on.
At a cross-point we walked a bit down and came at a path that went through an exiting forest, with little streams, and fens.
We saw deer crossing our path (see extra ph.) and some standing at the edge of a hill.
The last part of our walk had to be a bit dull, following the road that lead to Borgholz again.
The extra photo shows the radar-station in Auenhausen. We wondered what it was when we saw it in the distance and how easy it is nowadays to find out the use of it. It could be in two ways answering the challenge of today: look up.
My haiku:
The eye of the horse
A bit hidden but showing
Quiet intenseness
And the proverb:
To all intents and purposes.
