A swan in the sunshine.
The good news is that Swannie's ankle is an awful lot better today. It was a wee bit stiff this morning but the swelling had gone down overnight. It's a wee bit swollen tonight but not at all painful, I'm not surprised though, because she hasn't stopped all day.
After the morning school run, it was a quick run to Asda for some messages followed by a walk round Gunknowe Loch, then home to tackle the housework that has been avoided all weekend thanks to the ankle and the rugby. Last night we were hearing funny clicking noises from the kitchen but this afternoon we realised it was coming from the fridge freezer, then tonight it was discovered that it had stopped working all together and everything inside the freezer was defrosted. It's an old machine though, as Swannie bought it when she had her flat in Aberdeen at least ten years ago.
A few clicks on the computer and we are getting a new one delivered on Saturday, we could have got one sooner but there wasn't a delivery slot that suited us. The good news is - my food doesn't get kept in the fridge so there's not a problem, is there? Lots of love, JJ. xx
PS the blip is of a swan on Gunknowe Loch, it's got a ginger bit on its head, just like me!
