A Windowbox In Shadow, London

It was one of fellow colleagues's leaving do after work today. Barney has worked with all of us for over 16 years so it was great we all managed to get together and present him with a card and leaving present. We had a quite marvellous time, full of memories from work and many a funny tale. After a few hours things started to get a wee bit fuzzy(!). Luckily, I'd booked a hotel room to stay in that was only a twenty minute walk from the pub. 
Today's shot was actually taken on the way to the hotel at about ten o'clock at night. I loved the deep shadow above the window and the fact that the strong lighting from above made the scene feel like the late afternoon sun rather than late in the evening.
