Mill Closed

This morning I (Chris) took Annie's Olympic Torch to feature in a photoshoot for our running club calendar. We had a lot of fun with 40 or so club members to shepherd into various configurations for different possible photos. The torch was a very popular centre piece.

This afternoon, for the first time in a couple of weeks, we had some downtime so we took a little drive out into the countryside. Annie remembered the windmill at Quainton as something to go and look at so we did. It used to be a working mill run by a village cooperative but has recently closed because they were running out of people to look after it. It still looks impressive and well maintained, hopefully someone will take it on very soon.
