Crown Lakes

This is Peterborough's other country park, set on the southern boundary of the city and  quiet even on a glorious spring Sunday morning.It doesn't have the facilities of Ferry Meadows, but makes a pleasant change, and is good for a bracing walk, as it actually has hills!

In the afternoon Ben and I went into town to buy him a jacket and shoes. Surprisingly the shoes were easy, but we seemed to visit nearly every clothes shop in Peterborough before coming back to the place where we started, where we eventually found a single jacket that fitted perfectly!
