Outside St. Mary's

I went on a wee trip down memory lane today, visiting my old primary school with a wee donation for the exhibition that's being put together for the school's 80th anniversary, namely a photograph of my grandfather who was headteacher there from 1936 until 1962. The current headteacher made me very welcome and gave me a conducted tour of the school. The basic layout of the building was very familiar but there were several extensions and alterations that I had not seen before. As I was leaving this cheerful spring planter at the front door took my fancy!
