Houses For Sale

This picture was taken along the street where I grew up.  It's sad to see houses with for sale signs out in front.  For as long as I could remember that neighborhood was a stable rock from which I could go exploring; knowing that I would have a safe, familiar place to return to. Now one of the signs is right next door to my parent's house and the other is only five doors away.  
I won't know the names of any of the "new people"---and they' will see me as the stranger among them.
