Approaching Southerly

I took this photo when out on a walk. At the time I intended it only as a record of the present conditions, but then was busy doing things before the rain came and missed getting a suitable blip. So this is how it is. The paddocks are dry and the once luxuriant poplars have shed all but the terminal leaves, which are still green. The farmer was spreading winter feed for the sheep not far off. In my garden trees and bushes are wilting worse than I have seen them. The rain is light. Will it be enough to revive the land?
