The Stave Church,Borgund,near Flam,Norway

I took this photo two years ago but I post it today following Andrew Graham-Dixon's exceptionally interesting programme on BBC 4 last evening entitled "the Art of Scandinavia" in which he suggests that this church built c1200 is one of the greatest buildings in the world,but at no time does he mention where it is.The comprehensive Wikipedia entry therefore can not easily be found ,and a couple of friends knowing I "go on" about my day there, asked me to make this my blip for today ,stating that the location is Borgund.
