At the feet of giants ...

No lens of mine is sufficient to capture the height of the giant redwood whose bark is so wonderful in close-up, but I thought the contrast of the delicate daffodils a the foot of the tree with the strength of what towered above it was rather pleasing. 

Taken in the Giant Redwood walk at Benmore Botanical Gardens, Argyll, on a lovely birdsong-y Spring morning.
