Pudding hunt
The girl's had a good afternoon. I picked her up ten minutes early from school as her music lesson was a bit early this week. She told me she'd been making an Easter scene from playdoh with her friend, and she'd decided of her own accord to do an Easter information sheet, with drawings and a mindmap of key features. One side was the "festive" spring side of it, and the other was the "religious" side. She skipped along eating her afternoon snack.
She had a brilliant music lesson. She worked so hard and when her teacher wanted to move along to other things, she wanted to go back to more piano. She wanted to play several things on her recorder. She learnt two new notes on her clarinet. She was a happy, happy bear. And she got a total of 5 stickers for her lesson, for getting 100% in a theory test and for her week's practise.
Shortly after we arrived home, Granny and Grandad arrived. They promptly headed off with Katie to choose some pudding for after tea. We've had a nice meal together & Katie and Grandad have had a great time at the piano, Katie trying to teach him. The rolling around on the floor by Katie has just begun!
