49-ers

Last time i wore this hat, I got into a lengthy conversation with a barista.
He asked if I was a '9ers fan and was I from the Bay Area?

As soon as he heard my thick Fife accent, he got his answer.
I tried to explain that round these parts, the Bay is a very different location.

I'm not sure he got it.
