Station ceiling.

On our visit to Lincoln railway station we had to wait for our tickets to be dispensed from the machine. I had time to look at some of the detail in the ticket hall. Most of the old decoration has disappeared but for the hint of a former grandeur on the decorated ceiling. Nicely picked out in orange paint are the decorated bosses that must have been there since Victorian times. A last hint of busier times.
