growing

My flatmate appears to be growing an onion plant in our kitchen. Which is fair enough- i'm quite into the grow your own idea- but im not sure she knows she's doing it. I came across this at the side of the microwave. I'm not one to religiously stick to use by dates, but the date on the label is 22 June. That's quite a while ago.
