We visited (briefly) Abbots Hall on our lunch break today, lots of history of the town, and the mansion house.
It's all recently been refurbished and passed over to the museum. Quite interesting!
This was in one of the rooms... Lovely reading what some people had written... One child had written simply "we don't have any garden" :( pour little thing! Lol!
