Crummock Water and Buttermere from Mellbreak
Such a beautiful day I grabbed a few hours for a walk over Mellbreak (Wainwright 135). A wonderful spring day at last; warm, sunny, I ended up walking in a t-shirt. After climbing up the steep northern end of Mellbreak, I was treated to this amazing view. Crummock Water in the foreground, Buttermere behind, looking down on Rannerdale Knotts (which looks pretty small from Mellbreak) and Fleetwith Pike in the far distance.
Is there a better place on earth to be. This really feels like the start of our two-months or so of decent weather.
(We still have some short-term vacancies on workshops)
