HMS Ocean

It's a big boat (the biggest in the navy) and it has come to protect us during the Olympics.

As a public relations exercise, there was another "open day" today. We joined a short queue, hoped aboard a small boat, which ferried us across to the enormous ship. We had the chance to see some of the cavernous interior and listen to some of the sailors and marines talking about what they did. I have to admit it was fascinating.

We walked back to our car, around the building site that is the closed Greenwich Park.
