Green-eyed Bee

…on a Paper Bush (Edgeworthia Chyrsantha).  I spent about 3 hours at Brookside Gardens on this exquisite day.  I was ecstatic to see so many bees and flowers already in bloom, and for once I remembered to shoot the name of the flower so I would have it to post. 


I slipped out the back gate of the gardens and took a walk around Pine Lake where I saw an amazing sight of a Great Blue Heron standing on an island of turtles which I have included in the extras, along with a frog or two.
