As Edgar was having his first swimbling-pool immersion the last time we visited the Magnum centre in Irvine I didn't notice that it had a rapids thing, some skooshing-pipes, a waterfall, some slides, an outside bit and the remains of a flume. Considering the mankiness of the outside the inside looks relatively presentable, though when it cost only £5 for all four of us (with two of us staying in for at least three hours) and was really quite empty (not so much in the pool but noticeably around the rest of the complex) it's unsurprising that there are rumours of it being slated for shutting.
